A recipe for original and simple sandwiches. This frozen dessert is perfect for summer in the company of friends or relatives.
Ingredients
- 1 envelope (1 lb 1.5 oz) of mixture to chocolate chip cookies Betty Crocker ® (chocolate chip cookie mix)
- 1 envelope (1 lb 1.5 oz) of sugar cookie mix or peanut butter Betty Crocker ® (peanut butter or sugar cookie mix)
- Butter and eggs for cookies mentioned in the envelopes
- 4 cups vanilla or chocolate ice cream or frozen yogurt a little soft
- 4 cups of mint or strawberry ice cream or frozen yogurt a little soft
- Sweet Betty Crocker ® decorating, if desired
- Miniature chocolate chips, if desired
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 375 ° F. Make the cookie dough mixture as indicated by the back of the bags using butter and eggs. Except, put the dough by spoonfuls on ungreased baking trays, separated from one another by 2 inches (so do not stick to each other). 2. Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cool 1 minute. Remove them to a cookie rack to cool completely about 30 minutes. 3. For each ice cream sandwich placed as 1/3 cup ice cream between two biscuits. Gently press the cookies to come out a bit from the edge of the cookie and press the sandwiches on the chocolate chips or candy to make them stick to ice cream. Individually with plastic wrap and place in a closed bag. Freeze.
