Bolognese Sauce


Maggie Ibarra, winner of  "Cooking a dream", organized by Olive Garden, Wake up America is prepared in Bolognese Sauce recipe she learned to do during your trip to Tuscany, Italy, as part of their prize.

Ingredients


  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • Π pound of ground beef
  • 6 ounces Italian sausage, skin removed
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 18 oz can of tomato flattened, chopped (not ground)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (1/4 teaspoon dried)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh sage, chopped (1/4 teaspoon of dry)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Send ingredients


Preparation

Heat oil in large skillet. Add the celery, carrots, onion, garlic and cook for about 5 minutes. Add meat and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Deglasa the pan with wine, let reduce. Add tomatoes and remaining ingredients and stir. Simmer for 1 hour. Serve over hot pasta, fresh.

Tomato and chickpea dip for Thanksgiving

Ingredients


  • 1/2 cup Hellmann's ® or Best Foods ® Real
  • 1/2 cup pasta sauce Ragu ® Old World Style ® Traditional
  • 2 cans (15.5 oz. C / u) of low-sodium chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder (optional)
  • 2 cups baby carrots
  • 2 cups celery
  • 2 whole wheat pita bread cut into triangles



Preparation

Puree the mayonnaise, pasta sauce, chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic and chipotle in a food processor to a smooth paste. Serve with vegetables and pita triangles. Three Onion Dip


Why choose a sauce with a type of onion if we can make it three? Here we show a recipe for a dressing in this vegetable combined with cream cheese.

Ingredients


  • 2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
  • 1 large sweet onion (such as Bermuda, Maui, Spanish or Walla Walla), chopped (1 cup)
  • 1/2 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 container (8 oz) of dough spread with cream cheese, onion and chives
  • Assorted crackers and breadsticks


Preparation

1. In a 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Fry onions in oil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft.

2. Add parsley and cream cheese spread and stir until a homogeneous mixture. Serve on a platter, cold or hot, with crackers.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz (2 packages can be 3oz) cream cheese, at room temperature, soft.
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese striped style.
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (pizza sauce).
  • Snacks or mini empanadas Totino's ® Pizza Rolls ® frozen pizza snacks.

Preparation


In a saucepan with a capacity of 2-quart, heat all ingredients over medium heat. Stir frequently until cheese is melted and dip is hot. Serve with pizza appetizers snacks.

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 bunch of broccoli
  • ham
  • bacon
  • olive oil
  • 1 cup cheese quezadilla d (ke melts)

  • Alfredo 1sobre souce mix (mcormic)

Preparation

Black Bean Dip


Try this sauce to accompany our bean tortilla chips or your favorite snacks.

Ingredients


  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cans of 15 oz. black beans, rinsed and drained
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • Red pepper (optional)
  • Salt
  • 1 pack of 6 oz. plain yogurt
  • 2 large tomatoes, disheartened, seeded and finely chopped
  • ½ cup chopped fresh coriander leaves to serve


Preparation

Heat the olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until onion is tender, about 2 minutes. Pass the onion mixture to a blender or food processor along with the drained beans, cumin, pepper and salt, pushing the mixture into the bottom of the blender if necessary. (If the puree is too thick, add 1 to 2 tablespoons water or chicken broth to facilitate mixing of ingredients and puree smooth.) Transfer the puree to a bowl and adds yogurt and chopped tomatoes. Serve immediately. If you wish, you can refrigerate up to 3 days, covered with plastic wrap. In this case, let it reached room temperature before serving. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro before serving.

Fresh fruit with white cream


Mix fruit with this rich white cream for dessert sumptuous and unforgettable.

Ingredients


  • 4 large peaches, peeled and sliced.
  • 2 pints of blueberries.
  • Juice of 1 lemon.
  • 6 egg yolks.
  • 2 pints of heavy cream (heavy whipping cream).
  • 1 cup sugar.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla.
  • 1 ¼ cups of amaretto.


Preparation


  • In a bowl combine peaches and blueberries with lemon juice and 1/2 cup amaretto. 
  • Refrigerate. 
  • In a medium skillet mixture and boil the cream, sugar and vanilla. 
  • Remove from heat and set aside. 
  • In a pot put large egg yolks and whisk constantly. 
  • Let boil twice as frothy off the heat. 
  • Add the remaining amaretto. 
  • Using a ladle, slowly add the cream mixture and egg mixture and whisk constantly. 
  • Once mixtures are thoroughly incorporated, put them back into the pan and simmer. 
  • cooled to room temperature. 
  • Refrigerate and serve with fruit. 
  • Garnish with a sprig of mint.
