- 2 cups croutons, seasoned (4 oz)
- 2 cups Swiss-style cheese, grated (8 oz)
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350 ° F. Cooked and drained noodles, as indicated in the package.
2. Meanwhile, in a pot of 5 quarts, melt butter over medium high heat. Add meat, onions and mushrooms, cooking about 20 minutes, stirring frequently, until meat is browned on all sides, the onions are soft and golden mushrooms.
3. Spread the noodles in the bottom of a glass baking dish in 13x9-inch (3 quart) pan. Pour meat mixture over the noodles.
4. In the same pan, heat two cups of broth over medium high heat until boiling. In a medium bowl, combine the remaining ½ cup broth and flour until a homogeneous mixture. Add flour mixture to the boiling broth. Cook, stirring constantly, until bubbly and thickened. Add the rosemary, salt and pepper. Pour over meat mixture, stir to mix.
