This recipe makes five servings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 12 cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 piece fresh ginger 1 inch, peeled
- 1 can cream of coconut
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 cup of rum Captain Morgan
- 1 cinnamon powder (optional)
Preparation
- Boil the cloves, cinnamon and ginger in the water over medium heat 3 to 5 minutes.
- Let cool for 15 minutes covered.
- Strain the water and add the coconut cream, evaporated milk, rum.
- Blend for 30 seconds or until well incorporated.
- Refrigerate in a glass jar or bottle for 2 hours or until chilled.
- Serve in cocktail glasses or martini glasses.
- if desired Sprinkle with cinnamon.
