Chicken Salad summer


Summer comes and we want to eat healthy, but without neglecting the palate. We show how to prepare a salad with chicken, cheese and walnuts with a super light dressing. A healthy and delicious combination.

Ingredients


  • Salad
  • 7 cups chopped romaine lettuce (1 lettuce)
  • 2 packages (9 oz each) chicken breast strips, cooked, frozen (without breading) (4 cups). Thawing.
  • 1 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese (4 oz)
  • 1 cup nuts (pecans) into halves (4 oz)
  • 3 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • Dressing
  • 1/3 cup olive or vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped


Preparation


1. Place in a serving bowl for salads, 3 quarts, half of the lettuce. Put a layer of chicken, cheese, pecan halves, the rest of the lettuce and strawberries.

2. In small bowl or measuring cup glass, mix dressing ingredients with wire whisk until combined well. Pour dressing over salad just before serving.
