Ingredients
- 2 packages (9 ounces each) of ravioli stuffed with cheese, chilled
- 1 package (8 oz) sliced fresh mushrooms (3 cups)
- 1 large onion, coarsely chopped (1 cup)
- 1 jar (24 to 28 oz) tomato sauce for pasta
- ½ cup half and half cream or cream substitute
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
1. Cook and drain ravioli according to directions on the package. Keep them warm.
2. Apply cooking spray to the pan where cociste ravioli, and preheat over medium heat. Saute mushrooms in it and the onion for 5 minutes, stirring frequently until onion is acitrone.
3. Pour into the pot the pasta sauce and half milk and half cream, and mix well. Heat to a boil, reduce heat to "low". While stirring, add to the mix the ravioli, cheese and parsley.
